Seam Welding Trim Guide

This steel depth control guide is used with the No. 985 Quarter Moon Knife in a two-step trimming process that removes excess welding rod from the seam area after cooling.

First, insert the trim guide beneath the knife and trim off the bulk of the material on a first pass. Afterwards, the trim guide is removed and a second pass is made with the knife only.
